Photographer
APPLYResponsibilities
• Utilizing a high-quality digital or analog camera
• Setting up the necessary lighting in the studio/location
• Photographing subjects (e.g. models, products, landscapes, events)
• Operating different technological equipment and programs (e.g. scanners, computers, Photoshop)
• Send proofs to clients, seek feedback, and modify their order accordingly
Requirements
• Must communicate clearly, in order to convey clear instructions.
• Display effective listening skills as to understand the client’s requests
• Have time management and prioritization skills in order to satisfy client’s needs
• Self-motivated and willing to work independently

Brand Representative

• Manage/plan NL Eats communications and events
• Reach out to leads for potential donations
• Dedicate 5-10 hours per week
• Spread awareness of our recently launched app “Island Eats”
• Coordinating differentiated fundraising strategies
• Assist in the development of fundraising goals and grant proposals
Requirements
• Outstanding written communication and presentation skills
• Outgoing, energetic, and self-motivated
• Strong knowledge of social media and other basic marketing platforms
• Detail-orientated with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time
• Previous fundraising experience an asset

Creative Assistant
APPLYResponsibilities
• Help design promotional material for events, such as brochures and videos
• Create customizable templates we can use for multiple purposes, including presentations and business cards
• Coordinate with team members to gather images, logos, stats, and content to use in various creative projects
• Research and recommend new ideas for strengthening our brand
Requirements
• Fluent in video editing and content creation
• Knowledge of adobe creative suit and other editting softwares
• Can commit on a project to project basis
• Access to a camera would be an asset but not required
• Possibility of long-term retention through attractive paid opportunity if proven a key asset

Marketing Administrative Assistant
APPLYResponsibilities
• Maintain our website with graphic and promotional elements
• Manage social media accounts including Facebook YouTube, Instagram, and Twitter and any additional channels deemed relevant
• Manage and track the success of online and onsite marketing campaigns
• Create and manage relevant email promotions for current subscribers and customers
• Respond to Followers on Facebook
• Oversee all forms of digital and social marketing including ad words, banners, remarketing, carousels, paid posts, fencing campaigns and more
Requirements
• Ability to problem-solve, set goals, and meet daily objectives
• Motivated individual with a keen interest in acquiring new skills
• Moderate knowledge of social analytics tools, online marketing, and understanding of major marketing channels

Chair Of The Board Of Directors
APPLYRoles and Responsibilities:
• Being a trusted advisor to the Board of Directors and implement NL Eats strategic plan
• Developing and managing relationships and communicating with: funders, partners, and other stakeholders
• Reviewing outcomes and metrics created by NL Eats for evaluating its impact, and regularly measuring its performance and effectiveness using those metrics
• Assisting the Board of Directors and Nominating Committee in recruiting board members Periodically consulting with board members on their roles and helping them assess their performance
• Planning, presiding over, and facilitating board and committee meetings
• Acting as an ambassador for the organization Ensuring NL Eats commitment to a diverse board and staff that reflects the communities NL Eats serves
Board terms:
NL Eats Board Chair will serve a two-year term to be eligible for re-appointment for one additional term. Board meetings will be held quarterly and committee meetings will be held in coordination with full board meetings.
Candidate Requirements:
This is an extraordinary opportunity for an individual who is passionate about the community development and who has a track record of board leadership. The selected Board Chair will have achieved leadership stature in business, government, philanthropy, or the nonprofit sector. Their accomplishments will allow them to attract other well-qualified, high-performing board members. Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:
• Extensive professional experience with significant executive leadership accomplishments in business, government, philanthropy, or the nonprofit sector
• Demonstrated success as a nonprofit board member or board chair
• Track record of building credibility in the funding community that has resulted in major gifts to a nonprofit
• A commitment to and understanding of NL Eats beneficiaries and mission preferably based on experience
• Savvy diplomatic skills and a natural affinity for cultivating relationships and persuading, convening, facilitating, and building consensus among diverse individuals
• Excellent written and oral communication skills coupled with natural affinity for public speaking
• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and a passion for community development
• Service on NL Eats board of directors is without remuneration, except for administrative support, travel, and accommodation costs in relation to board members’ duties.
